The Startup world at WMF: the 6 finalists of the largest Startup Competition in Italy announced

There will be six of them and they will compete in the name of innovation. The names of the finalist startups of the Startup Competition organized as part of the November WMF are official. The spectrum of the various industries targeted by the finalist projects is very broad: if ReWing – project of the Italian Institute of Technology – combines artificial intelligence and robotics for the orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation of patients, Flowpay aims to innovate the B2B and CyberEvolution payments sector directs its mission towards the capillarization of cyber-security through a self-configuring device accessible to all.

And again, if lightscience aims to facilitate widespread access to clinical trials thanks to a digital and integrated platform, YobsTech has developed an API able to analyze audio and video files and obtain scaled and staiy data presents its own marketplace dedicated to fashion sustainability. At the end of each presentation, jurors and the public will cast their vote to decree the winning startups and the assignment of the prizes offered by Unicredit StartLab and Search On Media Group , organizer of the WMF.

The Startup world at WMF: a virtual Startup District and the Startup Room will welcome over 60 innovative projects The opportunities that WMF reserves for the startup world will enrich the entire agenda over the three days and will be concentrated, in particular, within the Startup District , an Exhibition Area entirely dedicated to startups and the latest technological innovations that the Festival is promoting this year in virtual format to continue to fuel the exchange of ideas and the growth of the innovative ecosystem even during the global crisis of recent weeks.

About 60 startups present at the event

In fact, it will be among the online stands of the approximately 60 startups present that many opportunities for networking and business matching will arise through meetings and video-conferences that exhibitors will be able to organize with the main players in the sector, business partners and with all the people connected on the platform. Festival.

The Startup Room , an authentic vertical event dedicated to entrepreneurship and designed to offer ever greater space and growth opportunities for deserving realities, has also been confirmed.

The Startup Room will in fact represent an important showcase for 40 other startup candidates who, although not among the finalists of the competition, have distinguished themselves for the innovative potential of their business model.

The projects included in the room will be presented through pitch sessions to a virtual audience of incubators and investors, who will follow the room in connection through the platform and will award prizes worth over 300 thousand euros .

Finally, space also for the youngest with the Startup Competition Young , scheduled on the Mainstage during the last day of the Festival. The competition dedicated to the under 22, now in its fourth edition, will see three startups compete against each other for the winning of the prizes.
