Realme 7 5G: the low cost smartphone arrives in Europe

After the first models that have flooded the market in recent months, Realme returns with a new smartphone: the Realme 7 5G . The model is available right now and at a discounted price, on the occasion of black friday.

The smartphone, albeit in the medium-low range, has some characteristics of higher-end devices, making it an excellent device for those looking for quality at a good price.

Black Friday and the Christmas period always bring great news to the world of smartphones. A few days after the presentation of the new Oppo with extendable concept, Realme presents itself as the protagonist of the low cost telephony market .

Realme 7 5G: the low cost smartphone is already available

The Chinese company Realme invests in new generation cellular networks and brings the 5G smartphone to the market at a price accessible to all. Realme 7 5G looks like a low-end smartphone despite having excellent specifications.

The display is 6.5 inches FHD + (Full High Definition) and 120Hz refresh rate, a feature definitely in line with higher-end smartphones. The resolution is 2400 × 1080 pixels. The battery is 5000mAh, which with 5% charge guarantees 28 hours of standby time.

On the Realme 7 5G we find the Mediatek Dimensity 8000 U5G processor, which integrates the module for the next-gen mobile network . It is among the first smartphones to support 5G dual-sim. The 7nm processor is designed for gaming. As for the memory, we find 6GB of RAM and 128 of expandable internal memory. The smartphone supports 30W quick charge which allows it to recharge to 100% in just 65 minutes.

On the photographic front we find a quadruple rear camera: the main one is from 48MP, the quadrangular from 8, the macro and the black and white one from 2. For the front, however, we find 16MP. The smartphone also allows video recording in 4K.

The price for Italy is 279 euros, but until 30 November the smartphone will be available for only 229 euros , making it the cheapest 5G smartphone so far.

The Realme company

Realme is a very young company: it was founded in May 2018 , but it has already established itself on the market and is making people talk about itself. Its strategy, as stated on the official website , is “Smartphone + AIoT” , that is, it uses artificial intelligence in the world of IoT. The smartwatch offers numerous features, including monitoring of blood oxygen and heart rate. The device is water resistant, and the display (1.3cm) has automatic brightness. Then we find 16 different sport modes that offer assistance for various types of physical activity, including cricket and rowing. In addition to this, the smartphone offers the "meditation" mode and the hydration reminder. The standby time is 15 days.

Realme is constantly growing, and its expansion is very fast. This November the company was named the fastest growing brand of the year by Counterpoint , the global industry analyst. In the third quarter of 2020 alone, Realme grew by 132%, reaching 61 markets around the world.

In July, the company launched its proprietary UltraDart 125W technology for super-fast charging. In February, the Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone arrived on the market , one of the first to mount Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 5G .
