MIUI 12.5 Stable: download link for various Xiaomi and Redmi models | Download
Here we are: the roll-out of the long-awaited MIUI 12.5 by the Xiaomi developer team is officially starting. Until now, in fact, those who wanted to try the news of the new MIUI version had to necessarily rely on the Beta ROMs . But with the advent of spring will start arriving gradually releases stable version of the ROM that we will find on Xiaomi, redmi and POCO. And as I already did with MIUI 12 , I decided to create a new article where you can find the download link for all the available ROMs.
You can find them in both Fastboot and Recovery formats, giving you both possibilities for manual installation. In both cases, find the installation guide at the bottom of the article. As usual, in the event that the released update is not final, you will find the word Stable Beta indicated . For those who do not know what they are, they are a cross between Beta and Stable ROMs. Once the Beta Testing phase is over, you get those ROMs that are defined in jargon as “Release Candidate”, that is, ready for roll-out. They are technically final and ready to the public ROMs, but which may still have some bugs and therefore are released as a Stable Beta to those who are part of the beta testing. You can still install them manually, but at your own risk.

MIUI 12.5 Stable: all versions available for the various Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO
Within this article you will gradually find all the versions of the MIUI 12.5 available for the various models: Global , EEA and China . For the moment, since we are still at the beginning, you will find very few models but they will be added gradually. Those indicated without download links mean that they are officially planned but for which the update has not yet been released. In case your model is not listed, it means that it is not expected to receive the update for the moment. But that may change in the future, so keep following us to stay updated on that.

How to install MIUI 12.5 Stable
As always, these two procedures indicated are generic for the various Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO models. However, it may be possible (but unlikely, anyway) that certain models may have a slightly different procedure. In case, we will indicate it. After this premise, know that the recovery ROMs linked above are in ZIP format and can be installed locally or via recovery mode (both stock and TWRP). Alternatively, you can rely on ROMs to be installed via Fastboot .
Recovery ROM
- Local installation
- Transfer the downloaded ZIP file to the smartphone memory, inside the ” downloaded_rom ” folder in the main directory (if not, create this folder)
- Go to ” Settings / System info “, click on the MIUI 12 logo that says ” MIUI version “
- Click 10 times on the MIUI logo, then on the 3 dots at the top right and select ” Choose the upgrade package “
- Select the ZIP file you copied and start the installation procedure
- Installation via recovery
- Select the downloaded ZIP file and rename it to ” update.zip “, then move it to the main directory of the memory on the smartphone
- Go to ” Settings / System info “, click on the MIUI 12 logo that says ” MIUI version “
- Click 10 times on the MIUI logo, then on the 3 dots at the top right and select ” Restart in Recovery mode “
- Scroll with the volume keys, select the item ” Install update.zip ” and confirm by pressing the Power button
- Select the copied ZIP file, start the installation and click on “ Reboot ” in case it doesn’t reboot by itself
These procedures are valid only if you are installing a ROM with the same version as the one you already have. In short, from Global to Global, from EEA to EEA, from China to China. If instead you want to switch from Global to China, from EEA to China or vice versa, then you will necessarily have to unlock the bootloader and install via TWRP custom recovery .
Once everything is done, just copy the ZIP file of the ROM into the phone memory, start it in TWRP recovery mode and install from it. Obviously you will lose all the files, so make a backup in case you need it.
Fastboot ROM
- Installation via Fastboot
- From PC, download MiFlash Tool , extract the archive and install the software
- From the smartphone off, press and hold the Power and Volume Down key for a few seconds to start it in Fastboot mode
- Connect your smartphone to your PC via USB cable
- Start the MiFlash Tool software, click on ” Select ” and select the ” Firmware ” folder in the Fastboot ROM folder you downloaded
- Click at the bottom on ” Clean all “, set next to ” flash_all.bat ” and then on ” Flash ” at the top right to start the installation procedure
