On May 30, XREAL officially released a new spatial computing product – XREAL Beam Pro, an all-round spatial computing terminal used to liberate mobile phones at the "Before Your Eyes" new product launch conference.

This new product that looks like a mobile phone is actually not a mobile phone, but an "AR spatial computing terminal like a Phone." It is like an iPod Touch in the AR era. Except that it cannot make calls, other touch screens, cameras and other components are all available.

The front of Beam Pro is equipped with a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD screen and runs Nebula OS based on Android 14.

In terms of other configurations, Beam Pro is equipped with a 4nm Snapdragon eight-core spatial computing collaboration processor, equipped with a 4300mAh battery + 27W fast charging, and also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as up to 1TB memory card expansion.

XREAL wants to try to solve the pain point of "spatial computing" that always emphasizes concepts but always lacks content. Beam Pro uses a plastic body and is very lightweight, only 208 grams. Unlike ordinary mobile phones, Beam Pro is equipped with two Type-C interfaces on the body. This allows Beam Pro to be charged while driving AR glasses.

It can only be shot using two cameras with different focal lengths, apertures and sensor sizes. And since the internal layout of the phone needs to be considered, a larger lens spacing cannot be set.

The most attractive thing about Beam Pro is its native binocular 3D camera.
