Huawei Mate X Flip: The next folding could have a clamshell design
The Chinese giant has just announced the Mate 40 series and we are already thinking about the future, thanks to a new patent that shows us what could be the path taken by the next folding of the brand. Huawei Mate X Flip (absolutely unofficial name, of course …) could be inspired by the design of Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and propose itself to users with a clamshell style.
Huawei Mate X Flip like Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: new look for Huawei’s fold?

As we have seen in the past few weeks, Huawei may not be the only Chinese brand working on a clamshell folding, as the patents filed by OPPO and Xiaomi also show . In short, Motorola and Samsung have made school and next year could be dedicated to flip models. Obviously this is only a conjecture given that at the moment these devices are nothing more than patents. As for the Huawei Mate X Flip , the documentation relating to the smartphone has been filed and patented in China and refers to a model with a clamshell design.
The interior is characterized by a large folding display , which can be closed on itself via a hinge placed in the middle of the body. Outside there is a secondary panel and a dual camera with vertical orientation. Regarding the selfie camera, the presence of a module under the screen is unlikely, given the possibility of using the main camera for self-portraits. No specific details are revealed, except for 5G support.
