Google will hold a press conference in advance. What else besides Pixel 9?

Just now, Google officially announced that it will hold a press conference at its headquarters in Mountain View, California on August 13th (1:00 a.m. on August 14th, Beijing time), and is expected to release a series of new Pixel products.

Google’s “Made by Google” conferences in previous years were mostly held in October or November, and were usually held in San Francisco. But this year's conference was moved much earlier, and the location was changed to Google headquarters.

At this launch, Google will bring its new flagship phone of the year, the Pixel 9 series.

The new Google Pixel 9 series will include three models, namely Pixel 9 Standard Edition, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. All three models will be the first to run Android 15.

Last month, Russia’s Rozetked exposed the real phone of the Google Pixel 9 series.

As you can see from the picture, the three Google Pixel 9 series phones all adopt a new appearance. The classic "camera bar" on recent generations of Pixel phones has been changed to a "camera island."

This design is still very eye-catching among Android phones, and its recognition is also very high.

According to renderings leaked by @Onleaks and 91 Mobiles, the new appearance of the Pixel 9 series has also been confirmed again.

Whether it is a rendering or an exposure of a real machine, you can see that the new design of the Pixel 9 series will be visually "smarter". Another advantage of doing this is that it can also make the thickness of the camera module look "lighter".

In addition to the changes in the back design, Pixel has also kept up with the "vertical edge trend." The new Pixel 9 adopts a straight screen design with right-angled bezels and a center punch hole.

Among them, the Pixel 9 standard version uses a 6.1-inch straight screen design and is equipped with an FHD+ resolution OLED screen; the Pixel 9 XL uses a 6.73-inch screen.

The Pixel 9 Pro uses a 6.5-inch 2K resolution screen, which is slightly smaller than the Pixel 8 Pro. The previous generation’s screen size was 6.7 inches.

Previously, a Google phone code-named “Tokay” appeared on Geekbench. This phone is most likely a member of the Pixel 9 series.

According to Geekbench, this device is equipped with a Google Tensor G4 chip and has 8GB of memory. The single-core score is 1082 points and the multi-core score is 3121 points.

In terms of specific parameters, Tensor G4 is based on Samsung's 4nm process and has a total of 8 cores. It consists of one 3.10GHz ultra-large core, three 2.60GHz large cores, and four 1.95GHz small cores, and also integrates the Mali G715 GPU.

In addition to the annual upgrades to the Pixel 9 series, Google's foldable phone Pixel Fold will also receive an update.

@Onleaks also shared a high-resolution rendering of Pixel Fold 2. The new design of Pixel Fold 2 is more square than the previous generation, and the screen size has increased.

The internal screen of Pixel Fold 2 is 7.9 inches, and the size in the unfolded state is 155.2*150.2*5.27 mm. The borders of its inner and outer screens have been narrowed, and the screen ratio is somewhat similar to OPPO's folding screen.

Pixel Fold 2 also has a new camera module, which adopts a raised rounded rectangular design.

The interior of the module contains two "pill-shaped" cutouts. The flash module and microphone are located on the right side of these camera sensors. The overall recognition is still very high.

Along with the phone comes the new Pixel Watch.

According to leaked renderings, Pixel Watch 3 will adopt the same design style as Pixel Watch 2, with an edge-to-edge display and a rotating crown.

The new Pixel Watch 3 measures 40.79*40.73*14 mm, while the Pixel Watch 2 measures 41*41*12.3 mm.

The above are some of the new products that may be released at this "Made by Google" conference.

Whether it is the advance of time or the change of location, this Google conference is a bit special. Although a lot of product information has been exposed, we still hope that Google can bring us more surprises at this conference.
