Golden Globe 2021: streaming TV series dominate the scene
The Golden Globes 2021 are preparing to celebrate once again the power of streaming by including an extremely large number of content produced by these services among their nominations. The scene is mainly dominated by Netflix, HBO and Hulu, companies that have invested so much in the production of exclusive content, which is why this result is not surprising.
Within the nominations, traditional TV no longer finds space, if not the NBC channel, thanks to the series The extraordinary world of Zoey. Among the best streaming sites present at the Golden Globe we also find Disney +, thanks to the series The Mandalorian, Apple TV with Ted Lasso and Amazon Prime Video with Hunter.
It is clear that streaming plays an increasingly important role not only in the distribution of content, but also in its production. The Golden Globe event will see Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as hosts, who, however, will be in two different venues and will have the task of announcing the long-awaited winners.
