BMW unveils official images of new iX1
BMW's pure electric model lineup has added a new member, this time it is the SUV model iX1.
Different from its predecessor iX3, this iX1 has a 313-horsepower dual-motor system with a maximum torque of 494N·m, and 0-100km/h acceleration in just 5.7 seconds.
In terms of cruising range, BMW says its 64.7kWh battery pack can provide a cruising range of 410-435km. In addition, the iX1 also supports 130kW fast charging.
There is not much difference between the iX1 and the new X1 in appearance, just adding some blue elements just right to represent the pure electric identity.
In the interior, iX1 provides the latest BMW Curved Display touch screen, built-in iDrive 8 car system. The traditional "drumstick" gear lever has also been replaced with a lever design, with wireless charging underneath.
It looks very good, depending on the price.
According to electrek reports, a set of spy photos of the production version of Tesla's Cybertruck was exposed yesterday, and the Cybertruck will appear at the official commissioning ceremony of the Moss Landing Elkhorn battery energy storage system.
As you can see from the picture, this Cybertruck is equipped with new wipers, which are much smaller in size than previously exposed.
Local news KSBW also photographed the interior of this pure electric pickup. Although the car is not equipped with airbags, the rest of the car looks very close to mass production.
Compared with the previously exposed prototype car interior, this latest Cybertruck has added a main driver instrument, the entire instrument panel is not as angular as before, and the steering wheel follows the Yoke steering wheel on the new Model S/X.
According to Tesla's previously released information, the Cybertruck will be put into production at the Texas factory in 2023.
Polestar 3 will be released in October
Polestar recently announced that the Polestar brand's first pure electric SUV, the Polestar 3, will be officially unveiled in October 2022.
At the same time, Polestar 3 will be the first product produced by the brand in the United States. It is expected that in early 2023, Polestar 3 will start production in China and the United States simultaneously.
Polestar said that Polestar 3 will be equipped with LiDAR sensors and NVIDIA chips provided by Luminar to support its autonomous driving system.
In terms of power, the Polestar 3 adopts a dual-motor system and is equipped with a large-capacity power battery. The WLTP battery life will exceed 600km.
The square appearance of Polestar is very suitable for my taste.
The best-selling Lamborghini of all time is born
When it comes to Lamborghini, we usually think of "big bull" and "calf", but the best-selling Lamborghini is not them.
Lamborghini announced today that its Urus SUV has successfully set a new production record, becoming the best-selling Lamborghini ever.
Lamborghini has produced a total of 20,000 units of the Urus since its launch in 2018, and its sales are hitting new highs year after year.
The Urus in the Viola Mithras (violet) color scheme in the picture is just 20,000 units that have just rolled off the assembly line. It will be shipped to Azerbaijan and delivered to the owner.
In order to increase Urus production, Lamborghini also expanded the original 80,000-square-meter factory to 160,000 square meters.
Honda recently officially released the official map of the US version of the HR-V. This model will be made by GAC Honda, so it has a relatively large reference value.
HR-V is built on the same platform as the new-generation Civic. It is divided into three models: LX, Sport and EX-L in the North American market. The price range is about 160,000-190,000 yuan. If you want to choose four-wheel drive, you need to pay extra about 10,000 yuan.
Returning to the vehicle itself, the US version of the HR-V has a very special design. Its air intake grille is slightly smaller in size and positioned lower, completely separated from the light group. In today's "big mouth", it is slightly "alternative" .
The interior of this car is still very "Honda", following the set of the new Civic. In terms of power, a 2.0L engine is used, which can output 160 horsepower. After domestic production, a 1.5T engine with 180 horsepower will be used. (Fast Technology)
I still remember that a friend in the comment area said last time that this taillight looks like Weilai.
Lian Yubo, Executive Vice President of BYD Group and Dean of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute, recently said in a conversation with CGTN host Kui Yingchun that BYD respects Tesla and is also a good friend with Musk, and revealed that BYD will soon be a good friend of Tesla. Provide battery products.
"We didn't hear that," Tesla said, according to EMF.
In March 2020, the vice president of BYD Co., Ltd. stated at the blade battery conference that almost all auto brands are discussing cooperation plans with BYD on blade battery technology.
However, according to the statistics of Gaogong Lithium Battery, in 2021, BYD's battery external supporting enterprises only have several brands of China FAW, Jinkang Automobile, GAC BYD, Dongfeng Motor, and Changan Automobile, and the external supply ratio is only 5.56%. (Fast Technology & EMF)
Last year, there was also news that BYD would provide batteries to Hyundai, and finally Hyundai chose SK and Ningde era.
Ateco, a New Zealand dealer, said recently that the BYD Yuan PLUS will be launched in the New Zealand market in the third quarter of this year, and pre-sale is expected to start this month. Ateco also said that from 2022 to 2025, New Zealand will introduce a total of five BYD models, including electric pickups.
As early as February this year, Yuan PLUS started pre-sale simultaneously on the Australian Evdirect platform, named ATTO 3, with two models, priced at 44,381/47,381 Australian dollars (about 20.1/215,000 yuan). (new trip)
In terms of passenger cars, BYD has already exported Han, Tang, Song and Yuan models to overseas markets.
CUPRA, the Spanish brand owned by Volkswagen, said it plans to launch three electric models by 2025, including the first all-electric car to be produced in Spain.
Volkswagen delivered 452,000 all-electric vehicles last year and plans to reach its goal of making half of global production by 2030. The company plans to invest 159 billion euros in electrification over the next five years, far more than rivals.
CUPRA has close ties to Volkswagen's other Spanish brand, SEAT, and focuses on high-margin sports cars. The company unveiled the new model at an event outside Barcelona, bringing its total to seven.
"In the medium term, we aim to deliver 500,000 vehicles per year and advance our international expansion into new markets and segments," CUPRA CEO Wayne Griffiths said in a statement.
Since its establishment in 2018, CUPRA has delivered around 200,000 vehicles and will generate a turnover of around 2.2 billion euros in 2021.
According to Techspot, Toyota has created a prototype of a portable hydrogen cylinder that could improve the feasibility of hydrogen energy.
Similar in concept to a propane tank, this product allows users to quickly and easily replace hydrogen cylinders when needed. Toyota estimates that a hydrogen cylinder can run an average household microwave oven for 3-4 hours.
The hydrogen cylinder was jointly developed by Toyota and subsidiary Woven Planet Holdings. Its length is about 40cm, its width is about 18cm, and its weight is about 5kg.
Toyota said the Japanese government is actively conducting research to promote the safe adoption of hydrogen.
With the arrival of $25,000 models, Ford CEO Jim Farley said at a Bernstein strategic decision-making meeting last week that the electric car market will soon usher in a price war.
Farley points out that the Mustang Mach-E starts at about $45,000, but the battery pack alone costs $18,000 to make, so there's not much room for a price cut right now.
However, he believes battery costs will improve significantly. Ford is developing a next-generation electric vehicle platform that will drastically reduce manufacturing costs. In order to improve price competitiveness in this possible "price war". In addition, Farley revealed that Ford is also preparing to cut distribution costs and advertising expenses.
While Farley didn't reveal any specific plans for a "$25,000 electric vehicle," there are already similar projects in the industry.
VW says the ID.Life is a precursor to its upcoming $24,000 electric model. Tesla has also been talking about launching a "$25,000 model." Musk recently said, however, that work on the model was on hold as Tesla focused on ramping up production of the existing model. (Gasgo Auto)
Following Wuling, Dongfeng Nissan also recently launched an office chair.
Dongfeng Nissan said that this office chair is actually the seat of the 14th generation Sylphy, which supports multi-angle adjustment, with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 300kg, and is equipped with 10,000 wheels to cope with different usage scenarios.
However, compared to the Wuling chair, the Dongfeng Nissan chair lacks seat belts.
Wuling sells it for 3999 yuan, how much do you think it is appropriate for Dongfeng Nissan to sell it?
