BMW unveils official images of new 3-series, with major interior changes
BMW's action is quite agile. It only issued a notice on Twitter yesterday, and today the official picture was released.
The mid-term facelift of the 3 Series has been optimized and upgraded in appearance and interior. The outline of the lamp group is more crisp and neat, and with the redesigned front and rear surrounds, it is more visually striking.
I think that's a good thing, the current 3-series is a little too dignified, especially the longer version, and even a little bit of a 5-series feel.
Different from the small talk on the outside, it is no exaggeration to describe the interior of the new 3 Series as "refreshed".
BMW unexpectedly moved the interior of THE i4 to the new 3 series, and the integrated 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and 14.9-inch central control screen contains the latest iDrive 8 car engine.
BMW has a place to be praised, that is, the retention of necessary physical buttons, which ensures the convenience of use, and at the same time creates a sense of technology that does not lose to a number of new power brands.
Since it is a mid-term facelift, the power is of course the same as the current 3 series – the B48B20C of the 320 and 325 models, and the B58B20G of the 330 model.
The BMW 3 Series has been around for almost 50 years, and this generation's interior is probably my favorite.
On May 18, Porsche China officially issued a statement again in response to the recent solution to the problem of the electric steering column adjustment function, as follows:
For customers who have previously promised to restore the electric steering column adjustment function, Porsche will fulfill its commitment and provide free restoration services for related functions.
It is initially expected that the service will be launched in batches from the third quarter of 2022. Given the current extreme shortage of global semiconductor supply, the overall recovery work will continue for some time.
For customers who do not restore relevant functions in the end, Porsche will fully consider the demands of these customers and provide a compensation plan with a uniform amount.
To all affected customers, Porsche will offer a one-year extended warranty for the entire vehicle as an apology. (Interface News)
This "compensation plan with a uniform amount" will not be 2,300 yuan, right? (manual dog head)
After more than a year of talks with Indian government representatives, Tesla has shelved plans to sell electric vehicles in India after failing to secure lower import duties, halting showroom and service center options, according to Reuters. site and reallocated work for some of the local teams.
According to previous reports, Tesla had asked to sell electric vehicles imported from the US and China in India with lower tariffs (up to 100% on imported cars in India) to test local demand, but the Indian government wants to specialize Sla promises to produce locally before lowering the tariffs.
Strong demand for Tesla vehicles elsewhere, as well as a standoff between the Indian government and Tesla over import taxes, has prompted Tesla to change its strategy and shelve plans to enter the Indian market, people familiar with the matter said. (new trip)

EU new car registrations drop 21% in April
Data released today by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) showed continued supply chain pressures led to a 21% year-on-year drop in EU new vehicle registrations in April to 684,506.
ACEA said this was the lowest April volume on record, except for April 2020, which was post-coronavirus.
All major markets saw declines, with Italy seeing the biggest drop of 33%, ACEA said.
Brand-wise, nearly all major automakers saw sales decline for the month, with Stellantis seeing the biggest drop, down 32% year-over-year.
In the first four months of the year, EU new car registrations fell by a total of 14%.

Mercedes-Benz recently said that future EQG models will offer a silicon anode battery version. Compared with the current batteries on the market, the energy density of the battery can be increased by 20%-40%, reaching more than 800Wh/L.
The new silicon anode will successfully replace the graphite anode, said Gene Berdichevsky, CEO of Sila Nanotechnologie, a supplier of the battery technology.
He claims that silicon anodes can be used to create "permanent batteries" that can withstand 10,000 cycles and have a lifespan of up to 30 years.
Notably, Mercedes-Benz is the battery technology maker's first automotive customer.
Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 unveiled in Guangzhou
Anyone who sees this Mustang Mach-E 1400 will think this is an unusual car.
It's really unusual, and the "1400" in its name stands for the 1,400 horsepower it has — a very exaggerated figure.
The Mustang Mach-E 1400 is jointly built by Ford Performance, the Ford Performance team, and RTR, the official Ford-licensed tuning brand.
It can be seen that the Mach-E 1400 has an extremely exaggerated aerodynamic package, including a very tense diffuser and a tall rear wing. Ford says the complete aerodynamic package can provide the car with up to 1043kg of downforce at 245km/h.
Mach-E 1400 has 7 drive motors, 3 front axles and 4 rear axles, and each motor is controlled by a separate inverter. Thanks to this, the Mach-E 1400 can achieve extremely flexible torque distribution and can cope with different forms of races such as ring tracks, drag races, drifting, and kinkana.
At present, this car is located in Guangzhou, and interested friends can go to the Ford Electric Vehicle Experience Center to see it.
Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark recently said that Bentley's first pure electric car will have an output of 1,400 horsepower and a zero-to-zero acceleration time of just 1.5 seconds.
But Hallmark said quick acceleration wasn't the model's main selling point.
The main selling point of the new car, he said, is "huge torque on demand for effortless overtaking."
Most people value 30-70 mph (48-112 km/h) acceleration, while in Germany people value 30-150 mph (48-241 km/h).
Hallmark said: "Our current GT Speed model has an output of 650 horsepower, and our pure electric model will be twice that number. The problem is that this kind of acceleration will make people uncomfortable or nauseating."
In the end, Hallmark decided to leave the choice to the customer, "You can do zero to 100 acceleration in 2.7 seconds, or you can switch to 1.5 seconds." (New Travel)
Affected by industry changes, policy adjustments, and especially the impact of the epidemic, many industries have struggled in the past two years, such as online car-hailing.
According to data from the Ministry of Transport, in April, which was the peak season for taxis, the number of online car-hailing orders across the country was only 476 million, a sharp drop of 37.4% year-on-year, and 32.4%, 13.6%, and 11.6% respectively compared to the first three months of this year.
Time Magazine recently interviewed a number of online car-hailing drivers, all of whom are in poor condition.
Master Cao from Beijing said that in the past, he could receive up to 30 orders per day, with a turnover of nearly 1,000 yuan, but since April, there have been only more than 10 orders, or four or five orders a day, and even only 2 orders one day, with a turnover of 98 Yuan, and the monthly rental cost is 4,000 Yuan, and there is a considerable proportion of platform commissions.
An online car-hailing driver with 179,000 fans on the video platform said that many drivers in Beijing can only run two or three hundred yuan a day, but the monthly rent is six or seven thousand yuan, and they can only return the car in breach of contract.
I still remember when I took a taxi last Friday, the master complained to me that now the sports car can't make money, so I'm going to find a class.
Then he exclaimed:
I haven't worked part-time for a long time, and I have forgotten what part-time work is like.
